I have a 98 (with PVH hubs up front). Two weeks ago I took it to the shop to have the brake pads changed and the rotor re-surfaced. I didn't have any problems with it until yesterday, I went down a really long dirt road with lots of potholes and when I got back on the main road, I got it up to 50 mph for about 10 minutes and then heard a rattling sound coming from my front driver side. I pulled over and as I was doing so I heard (and felt) a loud bump, and then it stopped making all noises at about 20 mph. Took it to a gas station, pulled that front hub off and checked out the bearings, brakes, ball joints, tie rods, and couldn't find the problem. Managed to drive home on it just fine. Today I drove for about 30 minutes before both sides of my front end started rattling, and as I slowed down I felt a bump and they stopped. Any idea what's going on?

If it helps, the rattling/clicking sounds like a bunch of small things moving around. If I had to describe the sound, it would be that someone put a handful of BBs in the center cap of my wheel.
