Clear parking and markers for 83?

do they make parking lenses for front and the markers on fenders for the 83 rangers clear?? mine is broke and I thought clear would look quite snazzzy. Someone let me know please thanks

i don't think you can have clear unless you get amber bulbs for the front because they function as your turn signals on the front. i was literally just thinking about this on the drive home 10 min ago...

wish i could have a dual bulb set up cuz i like the idea of putting some auxillary lights in that would fit, but i would need a turn signal somewhere.

sure are kinda spendy. they sell clear plexiglass at the fleet store here. maybe just cut pieces to fit, dull them with a little clear mat spray, use yellow bulbs and be done for way less money. still have quite a bit of plexiglass left over as well. just a thought.

Technically to be street legal, you need to have an amber reflector on the side of the truck right near the front. That's what the lens on the fender is for. The front turn signals can have a clear lens as long as the bulb is amber.

That being said, I highly doubt any cop would ever pull you over for having a clear reflector. If you decide to go clear, I would at least keep it a reflective material and not just plexiglass. The plexiglass can be used for the front turn signals.

not on my 1983. no side markers at all.

oops. my bad. just checked and the po must have taken them out when painted and just filled in. can see inside the engine compartment where they were. guess that is why i don't have a V6 emblem on there either.
