I had a radiator hose pop off, sprayed coolant everywhere.:bawling:
I sprayed it with water but it still has a white haze everywhere. Should i use a degreaser to clean it? Can anyone recommend a product that works. Thanks, Brian

gunk foamy engine brite. cover the power distribution box (and relays) on the fender and your distributor if you have one. apply liberally, let it soak but dont let it dry, hose it off. easy as that. :)

Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle or pump up sprayer then rinse it off with a garden hose.
It will cut the oily film off without screwing with your paint.

As said above...........cover up the elect. goodys before you do anything.

Simple Green! Non-toxic, biodegradable, fairly cheap. I use this stuff for cleaning just about everything.

Go to the car wash self serve and hit it with the pressure washer, then go drive around for 15 min to boil the rest of the water off and keep it out of your connectors.

+1 on the simple green. Here's my engine after using it.

Just spray simple green into every crevice you can. Then thoroughly hose it off. If you have an aftermarket intake you may want to throw a bag over the filter, as far as the dizzy and electronic stuff, just don't hold the hose over them too long and you'll be fine. Use compressed air or a leaf blower to dry off most of the water before trying to start it. Then get in there with some Mother's "Back to Black" for that extra shine.

Drive it through a big mud puddle and hose it off it`s a ford you cant see it if the hood is closed.

I personally use something I get from work called Mr. Jinx, but I have always heard good things about Simple Green.

I bought some simple green last night. I see what it does today, and post some pics.
