cleaning injectors

i have several spare injectors for my 2.9. i planned to clean them and swap what i have because of an erratic miss.
i found the ytube vids on cleaning them. put together some hoses and got all the part cans of carb cleaner lying around. dragged out the spare battery. cut the wiring on a parts truck to get the harness to one injector.
put it all together. sprayed cleaner into the hoses. touched the wires to the battery. nothing came thru. there was pressure in the hose when i took it apart.
figured that injector might be frozen. tried another. same result. after the 3rd one would not flow cleaner thru it, i quit. battery has charge, cans have cleaner.
what am i doing wrong?

check to see if you are getting a pulse to the connector on the injector itself. if you are getting juice tot he connector, maybe just as you said, they are frozen up. dump the injectors into a can of cleaner and forget about them for a week or so and try it again. that may loosen up your stuck injectors.

another thought... get a known working injector and hook it up and see if it gives you results. if it doesn't, something else in your setup needs reviewed.

I have un stuck a few by laying them on a bench and tapping on the side of the Injector with a small hammer but just on the metal part of the housing.

I am a DIY guy myself, but you can get those injectors for less than $100 to your door.
