Cleaning IAC

If I want to clean my IAC do I need to use an electronics cleaner or will carb cleaner be ok? I just take it off and spray in the holes? Thanks.

I've used throttle body cleaner and Berryman's B-12 on mine. I also take q-tips and run them along the inside til them come out "clean". Spry it in the holes and rub gently with a q-tip.
