so I was looking at my bumper and mad at the rust build-up from the snow and salt this year... I was staring and then looked at some left-over fiberglass insulation from when I did my basement... I thought I'd wipe some of the grime off and use some metal polish to take the rust off.

well the fiberglass took the rust right off of there like it was nothing! I was shocked really.... so I'm throwing this out there for all of you.

Never thought of fiberglass, I've always used a balled up and then flattened out piece of aluminum foil. Thanks for the tip mate.

I've always used steel wool.

I guess fiberglass works too!

Use to use acid when I was detailing that was used for taking water spots off of paint with steel wool works great.
