Hey folks I need advice Please,I have a 1989 Ranger 4x4 with factory aluminum wheels that have streaks in therm from some CLR I sprayed on them. Does anyone have any tips for cleaning them up streak free? Thanks.

Don't CLR aluminum rims.

That is my advice.

If you read the bottle of CLR it states not to use it on aluminum.

I had mine shot blasted...then prime painted them then rattle can painted them blue...they are still like new...paint hasn't chipped off...but my eyes are getting bad so they look good to me either way...:)

I thought the CLR bottle had simple green in it,But I picked up the wrong bottle. Thanks for the info.

Mine look good to me. But it's dark out and I don't have a light.

Factory aluminum wheels are clear coated. Don't try metal polish, strip, prep and re-coat or strip and polish.
