I'm sure it won't go cheap with today's crazy prices.

I just watched a super clean, low mileage 2nd gen sell on there a couple weeks ago for $10,000

Current bid is $5,000.00 with 22 hours left.

Sold for $8,200

Do you think that was a fair price?

I wouldn't go that far... but by todays prices... it's what the market will bring.

There was a 2005 ranger on marketplace for $5000. reg cab shortbed, 2wd , 2.3 /manual. thirty-five thousand original miles! pristine, and in toledo (within a 3 hr drive of me) It didnt last long, Ive been watching lately and its hard to find anything under 120K miles, over 200K is common and they still want way too much $ for them. I remember when 500 could get you a 75K beater that would last you a few years, now 1,000 doesnt get you much more than a parts vehicle or you have to put another 1,000+ in it to make it roadworthy. Im off with my trailer to bring home a classic ford this weekend, either a ‘53 jubilee or a ‘64 2000. Im leaning more towards the 2000 but I do like the jubilee. At least classic farm tractors keep their value better then a lot of vehicles. Id never get the investment back from my ‘94 ranger but Id bet I could break even or better with the allis.
