My work wants me to drive a class c cube van out of state one or two days a week. This van has a DOT number on the doors. Where as I have my class A CDL, do I have to stop at DOT check on the high way like I do in my big truck? And do I also run my log book like normal, marking off every stop that I go to?

in illinois anything over 16k pounds has to weigh. i know driving a budget rental truck from az to il we had to weigh in new mexico if i remember right. and i do belive you would have to log your trip since it is across state lines
