Chrwilkins30's build

I figured the majority of it. Found the schematics on the AutoZone website.

Yel/wht was for the gauge
pnk/blk was for the inertia switch
black oviously ground

There is still the orange wire on the b2 harness and a gry/red on the ex side. I cannot find these on either schematic but im going to guess they go together.

Guess there is one way to find out

Id leave them dissconnected try it if it doesnt work then connect them. That way if it runs then cool but u dont run the risk of frying somthing

Started on the interior. Once its gutted I can start on rust repair and drilling the hole in the firewall for the giant wiring plug.

Found just a little rust repair. Most of the firewall stuff isn't holes. Most of it was hiding behind seem sealer.

All the firewall padding was soaked on the driver side.

Dang, and I thought my 88 Ranger was bad when I removed the dash.

look up under the dash to where the windshield is glued on the bottom, my ranger is really bad right under there, I'm going to remove the windshield to fix it.

Oh, one other thing,

Don't set the BroncoII on fire when welding in the new pans.

Nice progress man. I feel your rust pain. I'm starting to see quite a bit on my truck too. I think most of it is small spots. the bigger ones are the fenders and part of the door jamb.

Do you plan to pull the 2.9 apart? Just to see what happened? It'd kill me - I'd have to pull it apart..Even if I knew why it has coolant in the oil.

Yeah, I know I'd be curious. Hell, Might even make a cool engine block table!

Got the ex harness out and got a few parts off it plugged in to see if it would start. I hooked up the ex gauge cluster just to see the dash lights and gauges. The fuel pump turned over the first time, after bypassing the NNS for the manual trans it turns over but wont fire.

--The fuel pump turns on, there is fuel in the lines( removed connections and swapped them, no difference)
--No fuel pressure at the shrader valve what so ever.
--New fuel filter with the "IN" sign facing from the pump sider to the engine side.

Any Ideas guys?

Cycle the key a few times to prime the line? or is the pump staying on?

I've cycled the key like a million times, still nothing. Used starting fluid in the TB and it started for a second then back fired.

Remove the shrader valve till fuel will come out of it, also check the regulator, and one last thing, make sure there is gas in the tank.

posted with a rooted RCA 52" tv and a Dish box.

Pulled the shredder valve off and still nothing pulled both lines and nothing came out. The ex pump wasn't picking any fuel up so I swapped the b2 pump back it and finally got fuel to the rail but not a high pressure. Once I put the shredder valve back on I got no pressure what so ever. Its like I have fuel just not enough.

Whats next?? How do you test the regulator?
