Are those ranger chips advertised on home page worth a damn and can i put it on my 89' b2?

don't waste your money

"Chips" are used to modify the base settings in the computer(PCM) for the engine operating systems and should also allow you to change those settings as needed, reprogrammable.

BUT, big but, they are only worthwhile if you are modifying the engine, i.e. changing cam, compression, heads, ect....
Otherwise there is no benefit.

You will net more freed up power if you stop eating potato chips than you would if you install a G-force chip.

They are pretty much garbage, but Jim has little control over the ads that actually end up in the banner since a lot of it is based on the cookies on your computer.
