I play Americas Army on my laptop and i am beginning to notice how hot my laptop gets while playing the game. Does anyone use the chill mats for their laptops? and if so, any brands recommended?

wow i got americas army and i didnt know anybody still played it, coures i got the original version, from b4 it was put out as an actual video game on consoles

Just make your own!!! A piece of plywood and some computer fans wired up to a cell phone charger/converter are all those mats are...cheaper to do it yourself!

I picked up a cheap targus chill mat that has a 4-port USB hub built in. It's cheap. The on/off switch is about shot.

That said.... it works. The only issues I've had with it is the stupid cheap on-off switch, the cord that is about 6" long (ok, it's not quite that short, lol), and that the fans are a lil noisy. But it keeps my laptop running cool enough that I haven't had an overheating problem since I started using it (I run my laptop WAAAAYYY too hard).
