ok i have a chevy 350 and i would like to use my tranny from my 4.0l. is there some kind of adapter plate that would work?

Simple solution. Trade the Chebby for a 4.0, bolt it in! Nothing to it.

Not sure the 4.0L tranny will hold up to the torque of a 350..........
Transdapt would be a good place to start, as I know they have one for a SBC up to a Toyota Landcruiser...................

You might wana look on TCI's website ...i just bought a adapter to put a powerglide behind a big block Ford...try jeg's and summit also.
