So, in my outher post you guys see im tryin to make a hill/mud buggy what ever you want to call it. This thing is NOT goin to be road drivin at all. No title/windsheld any of that.
Been brain farting about this thing for the past couple days. It has a 4.0/auto atm but has been burnt on the inside and missing stuff. Really dont think I want the head ache of wireing this pos. SOOOO, I'm wanting simple wireing. SO why not a chevy? There simple as heck to get running.

BUT, Outher problems comeing in to play. Mounts for the motor, trans/t case cross members and finding a driver side drop t case.

Just worndering if any one has ever tryed this swap be for? I know a few 2wd guys hase befor but never see a 4x4.

I have a 350 in the shop just collecting dust so what ya guys got on info for makeing a pure mutt of a truck?

sas with a chevy front? i seem to remember a vid of a b2 with a 454 a few years ago

From what Im told the s10 trucks and s10 blazers have driverside drop tcases and maybe the later full size trucks would have them too.

'88+ fullsizes IIRC.

Carbed SBF's are by no means complicated to wire either.

chevy swapping

the transfercase that goes to the 4x4 700R4's and 4L60's and 4L80's automatic transmissions all have driver side yokes

But he has a SBC sitting collecting dust so he already has the engine anyways, I would use what I already have. Plus has the rear sump pan so hes good to go there.
