Chevy Ranger 351 V-6

Yes!!! I really did find an old dusty Chevy parts book that had a listing for a 351 cubic inch V-6, that's the engine i would swap my 2.0L I-4 ford motor for, but i don't know if such an old chevy motor can bolt to the mazda m5od?? Anyone got any thoughts let me know.... i'm still looking 4 the CHEVY-351...
 
they used it in 3/4 ton trucks and up from the 60's and 70's. in the larger trucks used an adapter plate to bolt to the trans and use a horseshoe style mount on the fron instead of mounts on the sides of the engine

I would say that it would make quick destruction to a ranger tranny. Never heard of that engine, may have to look it up.
 
they are big on low end torque
