I have been reading alot about this swap and picked up a set of 63" chevy leafs from the junk yard most other builds I have seen say to use the belltech shackles I dont want to do the flip looking for lift first question is can you fab your own shackles I have seen trucks with what looks to be just pieces of iron on either side of the leaf bolted up and bolted to the frame how does this work out? And what type of metal / iron would you recommend could hold up in this application. Second question what are the best ways to level out the front once the rear is lifted working on a budget have seen the explorer shock swap with spacers the truck has a dana 35 ttb. Thanks in advance
