Ok so I got some 64s with s10 leaves put together and reached 12inchs with bell tech shackle. From what I can see I only have 5inchs of droop is that correct or should I be getting a lot more? What am I doing wrong? I have tried moving the shackle hanger from the stock location then to all the way back in the frame and then to about middle of both and I found it works best in the middle of the two spots. Also my front hanger take a look at the pic does it matter if its on a angle like that or does it have to be straight up and down. Any help and ideas would be great please!! Here some pics from ride height to drooped out.

Ride

Full Droop

I couldn't quite tell, but it looks like in full droop the shackle is hitting the hanger preventing any further down travel

Right but at full droop its going to hit right? thats as far as it can go i thought?

Well, with the bed on, a spare tire, etc ride height will make it compress more than just sitting like that with no bed. So from ride height you'd have more down travel than that. In theory.

So are you saying I should modify the hanger so the shackle can go down more? I was also looking at the Kartek shackle mounts and how they are made and they look like they would allow more droop.

Be careful that the spring shackle can't go "over center". I tried to allow more droop by twisting the shackle hanger slightly and found that it could bind at full droop. Having the shackle hit the hanger is essential to preventing bind.

i would do a kartek drop hanger and bms or camburg shackle, the shackle will improve handling as well.
