I'm looking for some help wiring my rig.

I've swapped a carburated Chevy 5.7L into my 94 3.0L Ranger. I've kept all of the wiring from both trucks. Before I take on the wiring myself I was hoping some of you guys could help me get started.

I'm looking for ignition wiring diagrams and/or tips, and where in the Ranger harness would the Chevy engine harness connect. If anyone has a color coded list of the Ranger harness through the fire wall, I'd love to see it.

This is my first motor swap so, any help or insight on this job would be appreciated.

Thanks.

you need colors for switched ignition, and for temp sender, and oil sender.........anything else? im at work but i have a service manual at home that i can look at later after i get off

reg/green stripe should be key power....pull the crank power off the starter, oil and water are generally white with red strip and red with white strip...naturally use the ford senders for the ford gauges...
