Is there a test port on a 91 4 liter? If there is, where is it? If not, how on earth do you check the fuel pressure?

Yup...schrader valve on the passenger side front of the fuel rail. Looks the same as a tire valve. Get a gauge and screw it on.

Watch out for fuel spray when you screw it on do it quick. Check it at an idle with and without the vacuum on the regulator then run it at 2000 rpm and goose it to WOT for a few seconds. Then turn the engine off and watch for pressure drop time it. If the pressure drops quick, Turn the key on let the pump cycle without starting it and note the pressure and the drop. Get back with the results.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was trying to find it yesterday but everything's covered in rust or mud. I'll let you know how it works out.

follow the above instructions.......koeo, koer, pressure drop, # of cycles to build pressure etc.

does this apply for the sohc too? Like as in the same location to check the pressure?

Thanks tor the help guys, I would never have found it without knowing its location. Think I'm going to clean some of the crap from around it before I attach the gauge. Didn't have time today and I won't be going to the shop until next week (where the gauge is), I'll post what I find.
