Check Tranny Fluid

Where exactly is the bolt for the transmission fluid check. It's a Manual transmission 1986 ranger 2.9 4x4. I lost my chilton and its not on the owners manual. Thanks!

Drivers side of the transmission. It is in the middle of the case, and is 17mm if I remember correctly.
