A friend of mine stopped over in this today.

It features a Chevy 454, automatic, and a Ford 9-inch rear with discs.

It was originally purchased at an estate sale. They kept the body (with title) and sold the rest. They then chopped it and built the frame.

I like the Jack Daniels bottle as the overflow.

It suppose to be on an upcoming Summit Racing catalog cover.

thats a nice ride, at the local hot august nights, theres always something similiar to that (jack Daniels bottle idea), except the seats made out of a beer keg, the shifter and e brake from bar taps, and the same jack d over flow style.... idk if the guy owns a bar or is just an alcoholic. buts its cool none the less

Sweet ride, looks like fun. I would love to build something like that.

Did you ask to trade him your ranger for it?
I can see in the picture background it hasen't sold. Or is it still forsale?

No, but I told my daughter I traded the Ranger for it. She gets upset anytime I mention getting rid of the Ranger.

Speaking of which, I've held off on selling it. My family wants me to finish the Bronco II and try to sell it instead.

Looks a lot nicer than a typical Rat Rod. More of a period correct Hot Rod. And Whiskey bottles are commonly used as overflow bottles.
