Check Out This 4x4 Articulation

Way too much time on his hands along with an insane amount of cash. Its badass, don't get me wrong. But dang!

Wasn't this featured in Petersen's 4 Wheel and Off Road once? I swear I have seen this before. It's still pretty cool though.

No matter what... it is amazing, by far!

now what he needs to do is a dry sump oil system for the engine, full drive by wire controls, and a seat mounted in a circular rail system that allows it to always be upright, even if the vehicle is upside down.

Then have the axle pivots set up so that the truck could flip upside down and still be on all fours, like those goofy remote control toys with the huge tires that run on either side. The seat would flip over from gravity, dry sump engine continues to run, and he drives it upside down.

i would love to see that truck play in the sand or the mudd and see if it would hold up...

How is he driving the wheels. No shaft is going to do that. Hydrostatic? Sweet!!!

I think it's chain drive down to the wheels.

You know--walking is better. A couple more joints per swing-arm and you can just take off the tires. Then you have a concert organ-esque array of hydraulic levers to operate to make it walk, but it would make a joke out of any wheeled or tracked vehicle.
