So my check engine light only comes on whenever the front end is facing down any hill, big or small. It also only comes on when I'm driving on a dirt road thats rather bumpy. As soon as I level out or go up hill the check engine light goes away. So I was told by the garage when I had it there last that the check engine light code said bad O2 sensor. So I replace both yesterday. The frequency of the check engine light started to come on more often than before now. I have no clue what would be causing this. My Ford Ranger is a 1993 V6 4.0L 5-speed with 78,000 miles.

Take it to a local parts store that reads codes and make sure of the code or codes. Make sure to write the number down, it will usually tell you which O2 sensor is giving the problem. It may also tell you rich or lean code.

sounds an awful lot like a wiring problem
