ok, if the hoses to the egr valve pressure sensor aren't connected , will this cause the check engine light to come on after the truck has warmed up? FYI the hoses are missing...

Pull the code/s and see what they are. That will narrow it down.

yes. that will throw a code. probably 327,332 or 337 or all 3. get it hooked back up, or live with the light.
