Cheap walmart Amp & Sub. And some audio noob questions.

if your still in the market for it i know a guy that has name brand amps and subs he deals with.. they are used but most still work like new .... bout everytime you see him out town he has something new.. if your interested i can ask him what he has tomorrow .. how much you have to spend?

Nah, my amp plans took a back seat to college. Turns out I'm going to need to work my ass off just to pay for the stuff to get me started.

Sucks being a teen with no work experience.

know the feeling i have plenty of work experience and still been laid off since last july .. hopefully my scholarships are still good and i can go back to school this fall.. last time i talked to my friend he had a competition memphis 15 and a amp for like 300 that would have busted your ear drums in a ranger lol

Everything in my system is from walmart except my head-unit and sub box, and it will make your ears bleed

I have a
Pioneer 12" sub in a sealed box
Xplod Amp
Front and Rear Xplod speakers
Alpine Head Unit

I've had this setup for a couple years and its still going strong, If I use the bass testers I have it will make the back of your neck and legs itch from your hair moving

EDIT: I had a 10" Xplod sub like the one in your original post, and it got muddy really fast, The Pioneer has been taking abuse for quite some time
The speakers aren't bad though, They're no Bose but they are very clear for the money
