Lowes vent duct in vent duct section of the store, 10 bucks and some silicon for the PCV Tube Fitting I cut off the old tube.

Spank it til it breaks.

does this give any better airflow or anything at all? or is this just a cheap way to replace when the factory tube gets worn or messed up?

Gives you a nice way to short-circuit your battery, that's about it.

What year is that ranger thought? my battery is on the driver side by light and air filter is on passenger. never seen that before? lol

This is a temp fix for a worn out part I couldn't find in the salvage yards. It flows well but the vacuum pulled the dent in more. I have a tendency to rev it to hell and back. It is temp. Don't have any short issues, I tied it down with zip ties. It is a stock rebuilt 3.0 5 speed with a rebuilt axle. I will give you the times as soon as I get to run it. I have 1963 falcon hood hinges. Autozone has some induction tubing for 19 in the accessories section.

You do know these are not 100% air tight. They are a tight coil of aluminum, so air is being sucked between the creases.

Dude.

The one I had on there was so broken that if I had to define broken that old one would be how I would define broken. It was literally crumbling in my hands, and at the time this was all I could get. But i am going to autozone asap.
