cheap and easy but rliable lift

Exploder springs for the rear and f150 spacers for the front. Time for an alignment then.

While your doing this check out your bushings also, good time to replace them mabey.

idk what kind of rear suspension i have but i was told its a beefier one then stock n it doesnt sit level so i wanted to more or less level it out

do the washer lift on the front...cheapest and most reliable way to lift 2".....

like he said up there, exploder springs and 2 inch drop shackles for the rear and f150 springs and retainers up front. This will net approx 2-2.5 inches all the way around.

F-150 springs in the front, blocks in the back.
Any way you lift it though, your going to need camber bushings, extended brake hoses, and an allignment.

the extended hoses aren't needed for just 2".....

it is 4"+ that need extended hoses.....

My recommendation is to not use blocks they are nowhere near as safe as 2 inch lowering shackles (i know ford put them in certain models, i just dont like them)

I thought that too, untill I put the springs in and found out they were too short.
How could blocks be unsafe? Many F-150's had them and Ive never heard of any problems with them. I've seen them made out of hockey pucks and the truck abused for years with no problems.

I have never heard of hockey pucks used between the axle and the leaves.....

and, yes Ford had many trucks with factory lift blocks.....Rangers included.....just that they induce axle wrap....

a small lift block....something 2" or less isn't too bad....but it is still better to use no block at all.....
