What you have now is basically buckets with an extra cushion and arm rest added to the driver seat. In fact some people have converted a 60/40 to buckets by cutting off the extra cushion and arm rest so that they can install a center console. If you find a set of Ranger seats you like it'll be a fairly easy swap. If it is the same cab style (regular cab vs extended cab) Ranger the seats will bolt right in. If the cab style isn't the same, swap your seat tracks over to the new seats.
Pretty much all Ranger seats 1983-2011 can be swaped that way, but you'll probably want to look at 98 up for better condition. You can also look to the Mazda B-Series since was essentially a Ranger from 93-when ever they stopped building them. Explorers can work too, first year through at least 2001 is a near direct bolt-in for an extended cab, or swap tracks to use in a regular cab.
