i own a 91 ford ranger v6 4.0 4x4 with blown heads or gaskets, and just bought the motor from a 93 ford explorer v6 4.0 that was rolled, it has 60k miles on it with 165/170 compression when they tested it, they told me that i needed to change out some sensors when i did the engine swap, i went to auto zone and napa they told me i didnt have to swap any sensors.... what is the truth

are they different sensors, like do i have to just swap them over from the old engine?, or do i have to buy new sensors and put em in there? ive done o2 sensors before but what about EGR... what is that?

Neither the 90-92 nor the '93 will have EGR.

he sensors on the two engines are all the same.

The INJECTORS are different, so you will want to swap
them over from the old engine.

I'm moving this to 4.0
