Hey all. I am new to this forum and have seen some nice things. I have a 1987 Ranger V6 with the 2.9l. It has an auto tranny and a 1350 electric transfer case. I now have a 1350 manual transfer case out of an 84 Ranger V6, along with the rear driveshaft. I have the shift linkage as well. My question is what do I need to do or get to make this work in my truck. Any tips? Thanks in advance!

The case should bolt right in. The only difference you may encounter is if you have different transmissions in the two trucks the shifter "arm" is different depending on the transmission used.

Yeah there are going to be issues with the 4X4 shifter and the auto tranny shifter, since they are in the same place. So I just need to fab something up or find the correct location for the 4X4 shifter.

The t-case shifter should not interfere with the automatic floor shifter. The t-case shifter is not centered, it is close to your right leg. There were auto's with manual cases back then, the trick is finding one in a junkyard or something so you can get the proper floorplate and shifter boots.
