Just as the title says, I changed my bearing/hub assembly, and now my 4WD won't engage. The light comes on, so it's trying ,so It's gotta be in the hub. Are there common mistakes made that would cause this? Would excess greass do it? ( I put a glob of it on the tourington bearing that is on the inside of the assembly.)
Any ideas will be appreciated, thanks.

Probably a vacuum leak. Without vacuum it won't lock the hubs. Check all the seals to make sure they are in good shape and tight.

When you replaced the hubs, did you replace the orings as well? Always a very important step otherwise your hubs will leak vacuum.

"O" ring, "O" ring, "O" ring. Done. Next. (My vote is the "O" ring). I did the same thing on my old Ranger.

did not do the orig as i did not have one, i didn't realize i'd be needing one, I'm gonna try putting on a new one. Any one now the size off the top of there heads?
Thanks for your input.

No. Call the dealer. It's a couple maybe three inches in diameter.
