im putting on my 4 in susp. lift, i already have the 3 in body im wanting to run 35s or 37s wut gears should i run i was going to slap in the 4.88 but i got a new job and not going to be the highway, unless im going to town. what should i run for better mpg? ( i no im not going to get good anyways but evry little mile helps)

35-37" tires you will want 5.13 gears.

With 35" tires you might go 4.88 if you'll be on the highway a lot, but with 37s, 5.13 is the gear to have.

:icon_confused:

Edit:
I think you might have it backwards, the higher the number (5.13) the faster your engine will spin.

4.56 will turn your truck into a total dog, period.

whats up scott is mike from west orange, anyways 5.13s are the way to go, the higher the numerical number the lower the gear ratio, 4.88s woud be best if you do any highway driving but if not then 5.13s will get you where you should be
