Hi all!!:D Like the title says: I need help wiring a Centrodyne 610 Taxi meter in a 02 Ford Ranger:icon_welder:.

I Assume The hook up should be the same as in a Ford Explorer from 1995 to 2003 because the dash is alike.

I am not using a top light. I just want the meter to be on and working!! Any info on how to rig up the wires correctly from the 610 Centrodyne taxi meter box to the truck will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know where from the box the wires go to:

One is sheeted only with only holding a black & white wire.
&
the other sheeted wire is holding 3 color wires (red, black, white) Where do they connect to in the truck?:icon_confused:
Thanks!!!:icon_bounceblue:

3 wires: red is power with key on, hook this to a fused power source that is hot with the ignition in the on position.

black is ground, screw this into clean metal under the dash somewhere.

white is the relay control for the top light you're not using.

2 wire harness: white wire goes to the speed sensor wire, you need to tap into that wire with a scotch lock or soldering.

black wire is ground again

after that you'll need to calibrate the meter to your trucks speed signal
