I'm the proud new owner of a 1994 F.Ranger XLT 4x4 (or is it 4x2)
The truck is cosmeticly very clean but lacked the a bit of mechanical TLC
Where if any shops, meets, gatherings, etc would I be able to get some guidance on repairs & diagnostics.
I plan on keeping this baby for a long time.
Hope someone can point me the right way (spring is here & I would love to go offroad).
I'll have some pics up soon in the introduction section.
My thanks ahead of time

how do u not know if its 4x4. if it has a pumpkin under the front of the truck its 4x4

Thanks
I checked and it does have a pumpkin under the front.
4x4 :headbang:
Should I replace the auto locks that don't work with the Warn set or with OEM replacements?
My trans (auto) is acting up I need a shop (or an individual) that can provide me with options.
I want to start preping it for winter to make it reliable. A tune up is due.

well what do you need help with and where do you live ???? i live by atlantic city!!!

I live in S.River 08882
To start it looks like I'm going to need an auto tranny (so the mechanic says)
I was looking at a 3"to 4" lift kit (what would you recomend)
What do you think about the WARN set up?

Hey 326Ranger,

I work in East Brunswick (only have a part-time job right now, thank you George Bush). There is a place by me called Bridgewater Motor Works. check out their prices
http://www.bwmotorworks.com/

And, if you go down Cranbury Road, on the right is Gibralter Transmissions. I haer they are pretty good.
