just busted it... i still have the side the goes to the pumpkin. but busted the other side and lost the little x thing... would it be easyier to put a new one in were it is now... or pull the shit out and fix it?

Get a one piece driveline, or you will be repeatedly repairing the center joint. That joint is only good for light on road use. Check the tech pages for information on the task.

i am dealing with the other u-joint thread. just replace the parts with new. dont mess with fixen. i "fixed" mine and now the truck is in the drive way when i was suppose to go out with a bunch of other's. fix it right.

He's talking about the center joint of the front axle. Not the rear drive shaft.

If it's a D28 axle, I wouldn't bother fixing it, swap in a D35 (much stronger, not near as likely to break again).

thats what i was thinking of doing. just replace the whole thing with a d35. but it looks like i will be doing something much larger now, since i messed p my motor. i already got a 302 that im dropping in with full widths and a four speed. so i' just going to get ride of the ttb, since it would be perty hard to put full ttb under my truck. so if anyone has any pointers on that which make it easier or problem points i'll take any advice i can get... thanks guy
