I have a 1991 Ranger xlt 2x4 with a 4 in. lift. My leaf springs are worn out, and I'd like to replace them. But I fear Doing so it would change the angle of my drive shaft and I'll end up getting some binding and what you, you know the deal. So, my question is how would I solve this problem? I've seen a kit somewhere online with a center support drop kit, but is that even worth it? Or, should I just use something like metal sleeves from shock bushings? Also, is there some sort of "equation" to figure out the drop to correct the angle?

Sorry if there already is a post for this, I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks
Mike

I just spaced mine down with washers when I still had my 2 piece drive. I would definitely recommend getting a 1 piece shaft out of a 98+ ext cab 4x4.
