Center cap screw retainer

On my 90 2wd I'm replacing the center caps on my wheels, and realized I'm missing some of the screw retainers not the screws to hold the caps on. Ive searched for these little suckers with no luck. Anyone got any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Aren't they just a square nylon nut insert? Those should be available at ANY auto parts store.

Depends on the wheel style. The steelies have metal clips.

And they are less widely available that you would imagine.

As for the square plastic style, I've seen them at almost every parts store in my area. In the Dorman "HELP" section.
