ceap lift

I'm her to help you out bud.

I took a picture of your truck in the future...
Nah, it's just mine sitting on 35x15.50s and 9.5" of overall lift. Pictures are before the body lift.

Trust me, 15.50s eat bearings quickly! I only ran them for a little while and I had slop in the bearings.

With 6.5" of lift, I was still rubbing hard, even on the street, 4" will just make things worse, forget offroading. Wasn't until the 3" body did I stop rubbing my fenders. I rub only on full tuck in the rear, the front is too stiff to tuck.
My lift was second hand, BL was new. Cost me around $700 not including my expensive rare 9" rear.
thanks for the info. but i will run 12.50's instead and not that much lift. if ya have some more suggestions please tell.

yea i thought of that but i have a 90 ranger parts truck and i thought i could make one leaf pack adding the springs off the parts truck. and spacers up front and stiffer coils and some spacers. could i do that and 3in bl and fit 35's?
:icon_confused:

I don't know how much you could get out of making a pack like that but i can imagine you would have a stiff ride. Unless you're cutting fenders I think its safe to say you will need some form of drop bracket up front. with 3"bl and spacers like you mention, i could only get away with 33s on my truck and that was with rubbing at full lock.

IMO to get 35s comfortably without cutting you NEED atleast 8" of lift.

well yea i think i am goin to try to find a 4" lift for the front and chevy leafs and beltechs in the back. and a 3" bl. and if they rub i will fix me up some spacers for the front and make a taller block for the rear.

Read the exploder spring writeup in the tech library, it explains how to mix and match your factory springs with exploder springs for a better ride, more flex and mild lift 1-2"

well im gonna do a 4" susp. lift and a 3" bl after christmas and get 35's. maybe beltech shackles and spacer lift if tha tires rub. but i gotta pay my insurance first
