i fixed the antenna, got a ball mount base. I can barely hear the truckers on the highway but its at least 1 1/2 miles away and im in the suburbs lots of stuff in between. but i still cant transmit anything ill have to try a new mic and if its not that its the radio right? my friend was in his driveway i was in the street i could hear him fine but he said all he got was static when i talked. i think it works if hes like right next to me though.
