Looking to get some cavalier seats for my 88 ranger, my friend just scrapped her old cavalier, like a 95-97 cavalier and was looking to see if they would fit in my ranger. I seen it done but wondering how much work is involved in doing the swap

I don’t know if it'll help you much but i installed Hyundai seats in my jeep, I bought 1/4'' X 1.5'' flat stock, heated and bent brackets turned out nice.

The hard part for you will be heating and bending unless you have an oxy-torch, the only other thing might be hard is drilling mounting holes.

or what if you left the stock seat tracks in and took the tracks of the caviler seats and some how but a plate across ranger seat tracks and bolted that to the cavilers or something of that nature. i plan to do something like that.

has anyone put the cavi seats in before? i have a parts car with good seats in it that id love to put in my ranger, pics would be great!
