make into a draguar (like they did on “roadkill”) or sit it on a 4x4 truck chassis.

4.2 V8. I'd really liked to have found an XJR with a supercharged V8.

Interesting buggy the whole way around... tore through one in the JY at one point. I think its the eaton M112 if memory serves... not a particularly easy one to find, but they're out there.

No idea if the non SC blocks can handle a SC like the GM 3.5/3.8 blocks can. May be worth some research.

Sounds pretty intense to convert:

It's a 294 horsepower rear wheel drive sedan that was rated to do the 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds and 0-60 in 5.9 seconds.

The XJR makes 390 horsepower and will do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.3.

That'll do.

I drove a jaguar once, a xjs I think, was more of a luxury car than performance. Had a overhead cam straight 6. very nice but unimpressive as far as power. Might of been a ‘86.

Was jag still useing the V12 at that point?

Meanwhile........

I bought a Jaguar XJ8 for $3,500.

More to come.
I think you’ll enjoy the car. Those X350s are very solid drivers. I love my 2006 Vanden Plas. Just hit 100k on mine.

As far as my daily drivers go, I rotate through a 1987 Jaguar XJ-S V12, a 1993 notchback Mustang 2.3/5 speed, the XJ8 mentioned above, and the GT500 for weekend fun.

And an F-150. But that’s not technically a car.
