Carfax?

Does anyone have a current Carfax subscription? I am looking at an 05 Explorer, VIN 1fmzu73e25ua67707. Mostly looking for title brands. It's being offered up cheap due to cosmetic hail damage.

I have a friend that works at a Toyota dealer. She'll run the VIN for me. It may take a day or so to hear back. Are you in a hurry?

I'd like to know by weeks end. I figured if I didn't get a positive response by end of the day tomorrow I'd just pay for it myself.

For some reason my dealership is really funny about letting us run Carfax on stuff we are looking to buy we aren't buying from them.

Hey Bronco638, I don't suppose you or someone else would be able to run one for me? Really more curious than anything, I've had the truck for over 5 years now but I keep running into odd things about it. Supposedly it only had 69k miles when I bought it but I keep finding things that indicate otherwise.

I'm not worried too much about the current hail damage because it is all cosmetic, except the $30 side mirror glass, and the point of buying it is to get out from under the loan on the Escape.

The wife and I have been going back and forth for about a year now between the upcoming need for a bigger vehicle, being sick of having a car payment stretching our budget, and not being able to afford anything else. I don't care about cosmetic damage, and if you read my build threads I don't have any problems putting an engine or transmission in something, so a few miles (only has 95K) don't scare me.

No offense but no can do. The person that does this for me is actually a friend and business associate of my wife. She'll do me the occasional favor but I can't ask for Carfax reports every day or even every week. if you want to remind me in a couple of months (via PM), she might be willing to run your VIN. Sorry.

Fair enough, like I said, I'm not really worried about it since I already own it.
