The last time I posted, I was having issues with fuel "gushing" out of my carburetor bowl vent holes.
It's a '84 Ford Ranger with the 2150 carburetor, just rebuilt. In that thread it was determined that I was getting to much fuel pressure, thus the needle could not stop the flow.
I have retrofitted a electronic pump, and I just installed a Holley fuel pressure regulator, I turned it all the way in and tried it, it STILL poured out fuel out of the fuel bowl vent holes, abit at a slower rate.
I even tried a new float, with the air horn off, I can lightly press down on the needle and the flow of fuel stops, so where do I go from here?
Replace the needle and seat, could that be defective?
