Passenger side collector dumps halfway on the frame, you would have to notch the frame to run the pipe.
2. Shelby type Tri-Y's and 85-93 Mustang Convertable mounts combined with a 157 tooth bellhousing. 3. Hedman 88400. Oh, and 1.? Is there ANYTHING legal in Kalifornia ?
Does anyone happen to have a picture of what the passenger side 94-95 header looks like in a Ranger? I found a cheap set of 94-95 shorties and am willing to try what COPPERHEAD85 did, but am unsure whether or not the headers are cheap enough to justify the effort or if I should just stick with the 88400s.
Also, in terms of port shape, are the 88400s going to work with my '89 motor?
2. Take it to a band saw and cut a pie slice out the engine side two tubes, heat the outer two tubes and reweld the inner tubes... and it will be tough to weld them all around and get a decent seal.
Not speaking about this specific application, but this is a great method for modifying headers. Just slice/pie cut without cutting anything off.
You didn't by chance get a pic of a unaltered header mounted in the truck did you? Even one how they are now would be great.
What is the orginal app. for the 88400's? Going to a Mustang swap meet in a little over a week and I might watch for a cheap set.
