Car Sales

I'm not talking regular car sales. But these special sales dealers have. It seems as if every other month there's a Truck Month Sale for Ford. Of course there's end of the year sales. Some other sales I've seen is a "Hung Half Way Sale". A Toyota dealer is moving locations and has construction at the new dealer and the lease is up at the old.

What other special sales have you all seen? Some of them just seem too good to be true like the 10k off new f150's I heard about today.

I see a sale of that magnitude on the ranger I want I'll be on it like a fat kid after a doughnut!!!!

There's always a catch though. There was a sale on the Rangers here at an old Ford dealer that said they were 8995. Well, they were, if you put 6000 down and financed 8995 through Ford. Why the hell would I be looking at a $14000 truck that's a base model if I had 6k to put down?

The big three is in trouble. I priced out a 2008 ranger because I thought they were finished this year and got $6500 off sticker, 2K off the truck and $4500 for rebates...
Made a loaded 2WD 23.5K truck right at 17K. Hell, Ida went ahead and ordered it until I see on the site that the plant is open another year minimum, so hellooooooooo 2009 Rangers...

Shit I would love to get a deal like that on a ranger, but i'd opt for 4wd.

I loked at a new ranger a little while ago....Cheapest 3.0 4wd I could get was $17K...and this is from a guy I know.

The more I look at them though, the less I like them....Tire pressure sensors, full ABS, etc. and I don't like the newer interiors.

Basically, to get the truck I would like, I'd be better off finding a low milage Pre 2001 from down south.

$100 over invoice and all the rebates over at Lawrence Marshall Ford in Hempstead TX...
