cant find timing mark...please help asap

i cant seem to find the timing mark on the block in a 90 BII 2.9 i see the marks on the pulley but not the block, ive cleaned it off with a wire wheel and still cant see anything... im finishing my truck tomorrow so i NEEd help and pictures would be great because i just CANT find teh damn thing.

i also cant find teh spout connector....anywhere

also.. i found a picture of something that looks like a crankshaft position sensor bolted above the balancer...is my 2.9 supossed to have that also?? because i only have two empty bolt holes there

I'm not sure about the bolt holes you are talking about. I don't have anything like that. Do you have a pic?

As far as the marks go, they are on the Balancer. I know it's hard to see...I didn't see them either. Its just behind the belt, engine side of the balancer. Clean it up with brakekleen or something similar.

Take some fine grit sand paper and lightly sand off the grease / Paint to uncover the little marks / numbers.

I'm sure you know this but don't forget to unplug the SPOUT connector!
