Can someone school me on the valve train

Already figured it out. Chaps my ass that no one could get off their damn computer to go outside for 2 minutes and look under the hood. Could have saved a lot of trouble. But I guess thats what this forum is all about. TALKING about trucks. Not actually doing shit.

Did you ever think that this was YOUR problem and not THEIRS?

Be happy with the help that you did get. Don't be a Jackass.

Yea I should of known that a public forum about these trucks wouldn't be the place to go for questions. I didnt get shit for help. I asked for a list of valvetrain parts. I got some bullshit about a 4.0 and how 2.9s are junk and whatnot. But hey, if I was dumb enough to pay $20 to be super badass "premium member", for something thats free, I wouldn't want to leave my computer either.Yall have fun e-working on your trucks and photoshoppin and all that jazz.

I believe that your egr transducer line goes there I didn't have egr on my truck long enough to remember for sure though. If no-one knows how to fix your problem the correct answer is silence. It was merely suggested that it can be easier and cheaper to swap in a 4.0 than to fix the 2.9. If you treat everyone like shit don't expect to get any decent help either. Premium memberships support keeping this site alive and free for the broke people like me. There are many very knowledgeable people on this site and one of them offered you his help in this thread, I wouldn't go around bashing your 100% free help.

LOL, you're the e-worker here. Have fun replacing stuff that isn't going to fix what's wrong with your engine. :icon_thumby: You should be happy resources like this even exist. If you knew, you wouldn't be asking.

What a frigging idiot this rude dude is. Allan answered his first question within a day, and USMCFords doesn't like it - apparently he couldn't handle the truth. Wonder if he knows Jack Nicholson?

Yea, sport, I must of missed the part where he gave me the list of parts I was looking for.... And where the open port goes... Who's the "friggin idiot"? Nod your head up and down....

Uh - Post #7? If your ticking is coming from lifters not getting enough oil, all the valve train parts you put on it aren't going to help.

:annoyed:
You came to a public forum for free advice. You didn't pay a DIME for any of this. What you got was quite a bit of valuable help. Apparently that wasn't appreciated. You ignored the advice of somebody with several decades of experience (AllanD) and others, then complained when you stopped getting help.

Moving on...
Flaming other members isn't tolerated here. You accepted that when you agreed to the forum rules as you registered at the site. If you can't abide by those rules, you can find another place to spend your time. Up to you.

Thanks Fast - It just pissed me off when he started flaming everyone. I really appreciate this site and when somebody starts whining like a little girl, I feel motivated to protect its integrity - AND my $20 is in the mail to Jim. If there were ever a site to support, this would be it.

That's terrible how that dude acted. You guys are GREAT on here. You also have definately DONE the work. You guys have taken out a lot of the trial and error b/s that someone else does NOT have to go thru. You all even prove it/back it up with pics!
A/D told him EXACTLY what his trouble was with the cam bearing problem.
And as far as USMC... a real Marine knows respect of others!
All of you guys keep up the great work that you do on here. I'm sure there are many others as well as myself that appreciate what all you do.

People are still whining about this? Bunch of soft-skinned nancies in here.
