Can I swap out

I have a 1984 ford ranger with a 2.0 engine can I swap out my TK4 transmission with a TK5 transmission if I can will I have to change driveshaft length?

The easy answer is yes Assuming both came from same engine - 4 cyl is different from V-6 and you have the correct drive shaft, you should be in business.

If you search the older threads, you will note that the TK4 has a better shifter that you might want to modify and install on the TK5 (just saying).
