Can A Stock Dana 35 TTB Handle 35's?

lol That was pretty good!

Yeah, that guide above seems to be a copy-&-paste from a large national magazine (with some RBV-specifics thrown into it). I would guess maybe they were considering it with having the stock OE hubs on it (those ratings seem to be a little conservative on just about every axle aside from the D28). However hubs are the first thing to get upgraded on just about ANY axle, not just the D35. It alone makes a pretty big difference.

Still running stock replacement Warn hubs here...locker and all. Yet to wreck one in 5 years. I seem to have a problem stretching the ears on the axle shafts...then my U joints don't fit so well....

Sounds like it's time to weld them in then.
I've still yet to stretch an ear, I've so far only broken a few 297X u-joints, though since upgrading to 760Xs, I think my driving style has also tamed some as I've gotten older too :icon_twisted:

Well..I would call my driving style precise and controlled....there isn't many instances I really have to lay into the throttle other than the odd mud hole you might come across on the trail. This is the second drivers side stub that I have stretched the ears on. Its not like the caps can fall out with the full clips, but I guess I will have to run a couple tacks on them.

you guys suck:thefinger:
