Camshaft syncronizer

Hi , can I take out the camshaft synchronizer of my 2000 Ranger 4.0 OHV with out removing the intake manifold ?

Yes you can take it out without removing intakes, but tight squeeze

Pictures are of the 3 wire Cam sensor, your 2000 will have 2 wire, same removal just different type of sensor
